Dr. Cecelia Martin is the founder of TEEM Leadership, the governing body and framework of the TEEM Players Network, LLC and the TEEM Leadership Institute 501(c)(3). Supporters of the framework, notably known as “TEEM Players,” travel across the United States and around the globe to work with companies and organizations no matter how large or small.

Dr. Martin’s desire is to Train, Equip, Empower, and Mobilize organizations to improve their program, process, and their people! Her experience in education and research in leadership has taken her abroad to present to scholars and leaders from other countries including Czech Republic, Spain, Belgium and Canada.

Dr. Martin is keen on the need to apply principle-centered leadership strategies and educational best practices in every sect and industry. She has provided training, technical assistance, and consultation to government agencies, state departments of education, school districts, community-based organizations, and faith-based institutions across the United States.

Dr. Martin inspires leaders and their teams to be tenacious about their work, mission, vision, or cause. She is a veteran of the United States Army Reserve and National Guard and operates a certified Veteran-Owned Business consulting business, supporting disabled vets. She is a former director, k-12 industry principal, senior manager, specialist, community college professor, and high school teacher.

Dr. Martin earned her Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, a Master’s from Towson University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Morgan State University, with additional coursework at Howard University and an earned certificate from Harvard University.

Dr. Martin is the proud mother of daughters Tyler Joyce and Kennedy Joyce and considers them to be her greatest joy and most important accomplishment.
